27th Letter

For this project, I created a new letter for the English alphabet that hopefully shows a clear personality and is easily reproduced in a handwritten format. Inspired by the Danish concept “hygge,” my letter features elements of the uppercase and lowercase letters “g” and “e”. The forms are meant to look soft and comforting, with a hint of a nautical, viking-esque edge. Hopefully they are aesthetically pleasing for all, yet soothingly and intrinsically Scandinavian.
