Apollo 11

This project recounts the incredible journey of Apollo 11 as told through data. This 20-page zine outlines key points of the astronauts’s lives and various elements of the space craft. Perhaps the most interesting portion is the 6-page spread highlighting specific time stamps of the mission, giving the reader a visual explanation of exactly what happened from take-off to splashdown. In communicating the data points of this important historical event, it was difficult to balance the readability of the information with the illustrations, but it was very rewarding to overcome such a challenge.
